Business as usual at the NSCAA Convention

he St Louis Convention with the NSCAA saw more than 300 soccer manufacturers displaying a whole range of soccer related products. With more than 5,000 coaches of all ages and abilities, the convention is a place where manufacturers can launch their new products and get instant feedback.

The number of tour related companies has doubled in the past two years with football trips offered to everywhere except Antarctica. Continuing to lead the way are XL Soccer Tours who have great trips to Europe, South America and now Africa. For more information contact ciaran@xlsoccertours.com.

In the soccer software world, avcmedia are streets ahead in design and business strategy and 2009 promises to be an exciting year with strategic partnerships throughout the globe.

The most innovative design on the convention floor came from Armadillo, a new range of soccer guards for the shin and calf. The uniqueness and quality of the product should ensure great success.

Other good companies on show included Busters Design Team and Soccer in the Sand.

Lastly, the uniform designs of Select were the most creative and their on-line design system makes ordering their uniforms simple and efficient.
