March 18th, 2010. Today, the World Cup is only 2 months and 23 days away……Beckham is injured, Dempsey is fit, Terry is not the England captain, Ronaldinho is probably not going to be selected for Brasil, Spain are the favorites and Africa is waiting for the football world to descend upon the continent for the first time.
And Coaches across Continents has designed a great way for you to help African communities by predicting the results of World Cup 2010. What could be more fun than playing against your friends and proving that you know more about soccer than they do?
Ever since the draw for the World Cup finals was made, fans and pundits alike have been studying the draw and each team’s possible path to emerge as eventual champions. The draw threw up the usual mixture of groups, some of which appear done and dusted before a ball has been kicked and others which are extremely hard to call. And this is where you come in.
Our World Cup Bracket predictor gives you the chance to map out the whole tournament. From which nations will make it through each group right through to the final, it’s your call. Points will be awarded for every correct prediction – with more points up for grabs as the finals progress. But the fun doesn’t stop there. It’s not simply a case of trying your luck and checking back to see how you’ve done. As with all our fantasy games, you can challenge your friends and/or colleagues in mini-leagues, and see who comes out on top for the bragging rights.
