Meet the Coaches heading to COLOMBIA

February 7th, 2013.  Tim Linden is an Illinois native who played soccer at Harvard and graduated with a degree in Latin American Studies.  Now residing in the populated city of Sao Paulo he works at the Brazil Office of Harvard’s David Rockefeller Center. With all of his experience in South America he will be a huge asset to CAC, but he does has one downfall…he didn’t eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich until the age of 20! “I am very excited to be able to carry out meaningful work at the nexus of my two greatest life passions: soccer and education.”

Anna Renery is a San Franciscan who attended Pomona College in Southern California where she played soccer and majored in Economics. She currently lives in Argentina where she co-founded the Buenos Aires Cup, an international soccer tournament that is the first international tournament for girls’ teams in the country. Awesome stuff! Not only does she run an international soccer tournament but she also works with XL Sport Tours as a point person in South America. “I hope to positively impact the lives of those in need, as well as learn from CaC to generate even more opportunities back in Argentina so that young players can continue to grow in ways that reach beyond BA Cup’s initial scope.”
