The Society Empowerment Project (SEP) is located in Oyugis which is a very rural area in Western Kenya and a Streetfootball World parter. Coaches Across Continents have finished there final year of the hat trick initiative with SEP in 2012. SEP uses football to capture the youths interest throughout the area then uses that connection to wider their education and personal development through messages in the game. SEP teaches directly about Health lessons through football games, and over the last three years has changed and improved their curriculum to have a better sport for social impact.

The area of Oyugis has the highest rate of HIV infection that leaves consequences of large numbers of AIDS orphans, and poor educational opportunities. They not only educate children in health but they also help build community leaders who can then educate new generations on the horrible truths about HIV/AIDS. SEP not only uses football as a tool for life skills but they also have an agriculture program that supports food security and financially empowers youth to create a sustainable income to help fund their education.
