Soccer Ambassadors for Christ is located in Monrovia, Liberia. Pappie Jones is the founder of SAC, and leads the team working with youth players and coaches throughout Liberia. The goal of Soccer Ambassadors of Christ is to educate the youth and community about social issues that are in Liberia through football. They not only train many teams, schools, and coaches throughout the year they have also started a small football academy where they have ages 5-18 training weekly. Spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS is a very important aspect of their football training, and they go to great lengths to  educate coaches and players about the realities of the virus.

Soccer Ambassadors of Christ treks throughout the streets of Monrovia making impacts in children’s lives day in and day out. Not only do they focus their attention on HIV/AIDS but they also teach the youth about peaceful resolution to conflict. On the football field they show different solutions to conflict they encounter on and off the field. They focus a lot of their time on teaching the youth that fighting is not the answer for the future of Liberia.

Working in Liberia this final year of 2013 was just another amazing experience to finish our hat-trick initiative. Pappie Jones the founder of Soccer Ambassadors of Christ makes a huge impact throughout Monrovia working with youth teams, and teaching social messages through training sessions. CAC worked in West Point known as one of the biggest slums in Monrovia and were able to work with some of the most passionate coaches in the city.
