Kigoma is a very special program for Coaches Across Continents.  It is our first-ever program, with our partnership starting in 2008.  Our partnership has grown each year, and has been a joy to return year after year. Kigoma is the first ever city in Tanzania to ever receive an artificial playing surface through Beyond Sport. This court is the first of its kind in the country and is a safe place for children to play soccer, basketball, netball and volleyball. Thousands of children every year are able to use the court. The surface will last 15-20 years and have almost zero maintenance. Coaches Across Continents enjoys the trip to Kigoma working with the local community on the sport court.

Through the partnership with Coaches Across Continents Nico Pota who is the leader and host of CAC will become our first – ever Community Impact Coach of 2013. He has worked many CAC events, and knows the curriculum back to front. He will be a great asset to the CAC team.
