CAC worked alongside Play Soccer Zambia from 2010 – 2012.  PS Zambia operates in the communities in and around the capital city of Lusaka.  PS Zambia is affiliated with Play Soccer International which operates in seven countries, and CAC is proud to have worked with their groups in the United States, Malawi (2009-2011), and Ghana (2013+).  Play Soccer uses a 48-week sport-inspired curriculum that empowers children and youth to lead change in the worlds most underserved communities.

PS Zambia was an enjoyable program as we were able to see the growth in their senior coaches, like Moses Munsaka, as well as some of the children who have come through their program and who are taking an active coaching role in their local communities.  The CAC and PS Zambia partnership showed that our two curriculums were extremely compatible and in some cases, nearly identical.  Their support of global events, like UN AIDS Day (December 1st) continue to educate the youth of Zambia against the dangers of HIV while keeping them engaged throughout the year on the football field. For more on Play Soccer Zambia and all of their international programs, please visit their website at: http://www.playsoccer-nonprofit.org/.
